Planning my first data analysis project

As a part of the boot camp I am currently in, we need to design and implement a data analysis project in about a week and a half. Actually it can be an application not related to data analysis as well, but since I am specializing in data analysis in the second half of the course, I am planning to do a data analysis project.

During the second eight weeks of the program, we have to do a final project, so I am hoping to make this initial project something that I can build on for my final project.

I am so excited about this opportunity. It is really a great chance to build a project that I can show to future employers and exercise my coding and data analysis skills.

I am really undecided on what exactly to do. I think a sentiment analysis would be really fun. I am also considering something related to my job (mathematics lecturer) like an application that helps students decide if they should study mathematics or another major. Finally, I am considering doing something related to Indian Classical Music since my partner is a sitar player. There are so many ideas!
